Overview

Key Bridge Compliance provides packaged compliance support to SEC-registered investment advisers. Its menu runs from a three-month new-firm launch through several recurring tiers, including programs that supplement an internal CCO and a service in which a Key Bridge professional becomes the named officer.

The tiers combine advice with varying amounts of administration. That structure gives an RIA visible upgrade paths as its program grows, but it also makes the exact package comparison central to the buying decision.

Who it may suit

The new-firm engagement may suit a founder who needs initial Form ADV materials, representative registration, disclosure documents, privacy language, and baseline procedures. An established adviser can select lighter recurring guidance or a broader package with testing, filings, employee oversight, and regular meetings.

The outsourced CCO option is aimed at small and midsize firms seeking external leadership. Larger RIAs that retain an internal CCO may find the upper support tier more appropriate because it adds execution without transferring the officer title.

RIA compliance services

The launch package includes initial adviser filings, brochures, representative registration, Form CRS, privacy materials, and policy templates. Recurring tiers add scheduled consultation, regulatory updates, document revisions, onboarding education, templates, amendments, registration forms, and administration of selected filings.

Higher tiers include monthly meetings, examination-response preparation, compliance-manual and disclosure review, employee training, annual risk work, advertising review, personal-account oversight through a Code of Ethics vendor, and a tailored testing program. Under the outsourced CCO tier, a Key Bridge employee is named on filings, acts as regulator liaison, and leads on-site examination response when needed.

How the engagement works

The entry project is described as a fixed-fee, three-month engagement. Continuing services are organized into Foundations, Foundations+, Enterprise, and Outsourced CCO levels, with quarterly or monthly meetings and increasing administrative responsibility.

The recurring model uses predictable monthly pricing, although public pages do not provide the amounts. A proposal should identify the selected tier, any variations from its standard list, third-party software costs, out-of-scope requests, and conditions for moving between levels.

What stands out

The service ladder is unusually explicit. A buyer can see the difference between resource access, consultant-reviewed submissions, substantial program administration, and the formal transfer of the CCO title.

The named CCO tier also describes regulatory liaison and on-site examination leadership, responsibilities that many firms leave ambiguous. That clarity is useful, but the engagement agreement must still allocate authority and preserve the adviser’s own supervisory obligations.

What to clarify before contacting

Compare packages line by line and map every calendar item to Key Bridge or internal personnel. Confirm document customization, filing approvals, testing samples, evidence, remediation, meeting access, response times, training limits, and whether examination support includes drafting, submission, interviews, and on-site presence.

For outsourced CCO work, ask about assigned staff, senior oversight, backup coverage, conflicts, escalation, regulator communications, and termination transition. Also review the third-party ethics platform’s licensing, security, permissions, retention, audit trail, export, and portability if the provider relationship ends.
